About Me.

What a wild ride I have been on in my short life! My wife and I married relatively young for today's culture, and we now have seven beautiful children! We have a beautiful life, but this life didn't come without a cost. The beginning of our life together was full of more downs than ups. At the beginning of our marriage, I was honorably discharged from the military due to back conditions that eventually led to seven surgeries (five spinal fusions), all in under ten years.

I struggled with my identity as an individual, a follower of Jesus, a husband, and a father. These struggles produced in me a new life—a new life in all the areas stated above—a new life that gives me a revived vision of these things, particularly of what it means to be a father! Outside of Jesus, my passion is reviving what is dead in our current culture: the concepts of discipleship, family, and fatherhood.

Our seven children are our treasure! If our children's ages are added up, we have forty-five-plus years of experience as parents. Each year with each child is a different experience, challenge, and opportunity for growth. We have learned much through failure and from others that we wish to share with you all.

It is our desire to shift the culture's attitude and vision of family. We wish to bring wholeness to every area of life! We want to revive discipleship in the home through God's vision of the multigenerational family. Join us with this vision and help build a better tomorrow by IMPACTING the current generation TODAY!

My master's degree has a focus on Leadership. I believe most of my learning here came from the principle of learning what they teach and doing the opposite. Leadership in the home, workplace, and religious space is an ever growing study for me.
